About Corel Painter
- Sutton, Jeremy, Painter X Creativity, Digital Artist’s Handbook, Elsevier, 2007. Excellent general guide to Painter, encouraging the reader to use the book as a creative catalyst for his own artistic skills. It is a little difficult for someone to concentrate on artistic style while also learning the technical capabilities of Corel Painter, but with patience and perseverance, it is worth it. Includes a DVD with extra brushes and tutorials. He explains how to download and install the brushes, and they are definitely worth it.
- Addison, Martin, Painter X for Photographers, Elsevier, 2007. This excellent book has a step-by-step approach that is easy for beginners in Painter to follow. Follow his instructions with tutorials on the accompanying DVD. An extremely useful section is Paper Libraries, where large examples of all the paper textures available in all versions of Painter are illustrated.
About Dogs

Forty-seven well explained projects, from very simple to quite complex, to do learn how to make collage art. Includes several projects devoted to making supports and the collage papers to use on them.
